How will you spend this fair, February weekend? Spring will be in full bloom at the Arkansas Flower & Garden Show, which boasts beautiful live garden displays, workshops for families and more. And there's no short supply of performing arts activities in the metro area, from symphony performances to high school theater productions! Here are five fantastic ideas for family fun:

25th Annual Arkansas Flower and Garden Show at Statehouse Convention Center: Live indoor display gardens, floral displays, educational seminars and over 100 vendors make up this annual show. To mark the 25th anniversary, families can attend Rock in the Garden from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 26 for food, live music, photo booth, family scavenger hunt and a floral workshop where kids can make fresh floral headbands and floral jewelry. Sunday is Family Day when kids, accompanied by one or more adults, may attend two free gardening workshops that repeat every hour. First little ones can learn about birds and create a simple feeder to take home. Then, enjoy a workshop that focuses on common insects that live in our gardens.
