Get ready to save! It's Partners Card time once again and this year shoppers will find more than 200 shops and restaurants in central and northwest Arkansas offering discounts.

To participate, shoppers purchase a $50 Partners Card; 100 percent of each $50 card fee goes directly to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary. Then, cardholders get access to exclusive 20 percent discounts at select stores from Oct. 30-Nov. 8.

All proceeds from the sale of Partners Cards are used to fund projects that support cancer patients in Arkansas. Past projects have included free wigs for patients who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment; housing and transportation assistance; post-mastectomy bras for breast cancer survivors; and cancer screening events. During the Partners Card's 12 years in central Arkansas and 10 years in northwest Arkansas, the project has raised more than $970,000.
