Up, up and away! It's time to sign up for the Arkansas Children's Hospital's annual Angel One 5K/10K hosted by the Angel One transport team.

The Angel One Transport team consists of three critical-care ground ambulances and two helicopters, all of which help children across the state travel to ACH to get the care they need. The two new S-76D Sikorsky helicopters were added in August and are capable of reaching a child anywhere in the state in less than an hour.

The Angel One 5K/10K event will be held Oct. 3 at Two Rivers Park in Little Rock, and the funds raised will assist families in need with the cost of traveling to ACH. Family-friendly activities at the event will include a bounce house, photos with Scout the dog and the Angel One Ambulance and helicopter (weather permitting). Kid-friendly costumes are encouraged during the races and medals will be available for all participants.

Registration is $25 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K and $20 for virtual runners before October 2. All participants may register online at AngelOne5k.com.
