The Little Rock Zoo has a new bundle of joy, and his name is Jumoke (pronounced Joo-moh-keh)!

Born to mom Mahale on July 18, the baby chimp was given his name through a public vote held by the zoo. Jumoke, which is Swahili for "everyone loves the child," received 42 percent of the vote.

Planning to visit the zoo to see Jumoke and his mom Mahale? During the month of August, you can save when you make your family field trip on Wild Wednesdays and Fun Fridays! The promotion reduces all zoo admissions to just $6 (regularly $12.95; children 12 and under $9.95), and continues every Wednesday and Friday though Labor Day, Sept. 7.
