Disney on Ice Presents "Worlds of Fantasy" at Verizon Arena: From wheels to waves, playtime to pixie dust, your family's favorite Disney moments come to life at Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy with dazzling skating, special effects and beloved characters. The crew of Disney Pixar's "Cars" will race across the ice. Families can dive into the enchanting undersea kingdom of "The Little Mermaid" and enter the mystical world of Pixie Hollow with Tinker Bell and the Disney Fairies. Plus, the toys are back in town when Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the "Toy Story" gang escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare. ASO presents Ashley Brown's Broadway at Connor Performing Arts Center at Pulaski Academy: Ashley Brown and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra deliver a concert of Broadway pops favorites, featuring music from “Wicked,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Sound of Music” and “Mary Poppins.” Local children and youth choirs, including the Parkview High School Choir and the Little Rock Choristers, will join the orchestra for portions of the program. 42nd Annual Territorial Fair at Historic Arkansas Museum: Experience life in downtown Little Rock during the territorial era with various living history performances, actors and musicians in period clothing and other live enactments--such as a raucous card game, a lawyer settling a deed to a plot of land, and blacksmith demonstrations. Hands-on activities and pioneer games are part of the experience. Kids can learn how cloth was dyed and can make homemade Mother's Day cards, too! 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 9. Magic Springs Water Park Opens in Hot Springs: Crystal Falls, the water park at Magic Springs, opens for the season this Saturday! Splash and play in popular attractions Splash Island, Boogie Blast, and the Kodiak Adventure River. Smaller children will enjoy Bear Cub Bend and Grizzly Creek Splash Zone. Both water and theme parks are open weekends only until May 22. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. May 9-10; open 7 days a week beginning May 22; visit website for hours and prices. "The Legend of Robin Hood" at Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre: It’s the final weekend to see this action-packed show at the Children’s Theatre! In fact, the show has so much action and stage combat, it is recommended for children ages 5 and up, so keep your little ones at home. Swords will clash. Arrows will fly.
