This weekend is so jammed packed full of amazing events in Little Rock and central Arkansas, we couldn't just pick five. Instead, we've gathered 10 family-friendly festivals, exhibit and play openings, races and more, all happening the weekend of April 25-26. Your kiddos can meet authors at the Arkansas Literary Festival, come face-to-face with lifelike dinosaurs at the Clinton Center, snack on homegrown strawberries in Cabot and so much more. 1. Arkansas Literary Festival at Various Little Rock Locations: This premier gathering of readers, writers, filmmakers and journalists takes place at The Central Arkansas Library System's Main Library campus and other venues in Little Rock. We counted at least 18 children’s events, and most of them are happening on Saturday! Head to the Children’s Library and Learning Center or the Main Library in downtown Little Rock, and you’re sure to find lots of fun. You won’t want to miss a martial arts workshop or the meet-and-greet with “Dinosaur Train” host Scott Sampson. Plus, your family can meet children’s book authors Arree Chung (author of “Ninja”) and Bryan Collier (Coretta Scott King Award and Caldecott Honor-winner and author of “Uptown”). 2. Dinosaurs Around the World at Clinton Presidential Center: Produced by Imagine Exhibitions, this brand-new exhibit turns visitors into globetrotters exploring 13 life-sized, roaring, breathing dinosaurs and the landscape of their ancient world. Families will learn how dinosaurs adapted as Pangea drifted apart. Land bridges revealed after sea level fluctuations and new landforms created by volcanic activity allowed dinosaurs to disperse to all corners of the globe, leaving each of the seven continents with its own unique selection of the giant reptiles. 3. "The Legend of Robin Hood" at Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre: Everyone's favorite storybook vigilante, Robin Hood, will take over the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre April 24-May 10. "The Legend of Robin Hood" will be the final production of the season for the Children's Theatre, and we're sure it won't disappoint. In fact, the show has so much action and stage combat, it is recommended for ages 5 and up. Performance times are 7 p.m. Fri., 2 p.m. Sat. & Sun. April 24-May 10. Tickets are $12.50, members $10. 4. Strawberry Festival at Cabot Community Center: This annual festival celebrates the sweet berries grown in Cabot. The festivities include a pageant at 10 a.m., a 5K race at 8 a.m. and carnival rides Thu.-Sat. Rides open 6-9 p.m. April 23 & 24, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 25. 5. Boosters & Big Rigs at UALR Jack Stephens Center Parking Lot: The Junior League of Little Rock presents this annual family-friendly community event to provide children with immunizations and dental, hearing, vision and wellness screenings. The event offers children the opportunity to explore community vehicles, such as ambulances, fire trucks, police cars and more. Free lunch is provided. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 25. 6. 5th Annual Etsy Indie Arts & Music Festival in Hillcrest: Enjoy live, local music, shop 100 Etsy artist and maker booths, and snack on delicious food truck nibbles. You can even stop by the Pulaski Heights Realty booth to snap a pic in the Little Rock Photo Booth. The festival takes over Kavanaugh Blvd. from Walnut to Palm Streets. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. April 25. 7. Jewish Food and Cultural Festival at War Memorial Stadium: This delicious day includes a wide variety of food—from corned beef sandwiches and bagels with lox and cream cheese to Israeli favorites like kabobs, falafel and Israeli salad. Browse through the cultural and religious booths that showcase various aspects of Jewish life from Arkansas to ancient Israel. Learn about Jewish holidays and life cycle customs and enjoy an exciting kid's area with activities, face painting, and jumping activities. Entertainment throughout the day will include contemporary and traditional Jewish music. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 26. Admission and activities free; tickets sold for food items. 8. 11th Annual Rocket 5K at Catholic High School for Boys: In addition to the 5K Run/3K Walk, families can bring pooches to walk with Zeke, the school canine companion! Kids 10 years of age and younger participate in the Kids Rocket Dash on the CHI St. Vincent Track. New this year: Runners will be showered with purple and gold powder as they finish the race! All race participants will receive a t-shirt while supplies last. After the races are complete, hang around for fun family activities and post-race refreshments. 8 a.m.-11 a.m. April 25. 9. 2015 Central Arkansas Heart Walk at Burns Park: Head to soccer fields 13 & 14 in Burns Park, where ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. The day also includes the Heart on Wheels event around 10:30 a.m. Children will decorate tricycles and spectators cheer them on in a parade. Then, adults participate in tricycle races! The money raised through the Heart Walk funds research, and initiatives that promote the prevention, treatment and better patient care in the areas of cardiovascular disease, the leading killer in the United States. The American Heart Association is the nation's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke. 9 a.m. April 25. It is free to participate, but walkers are only eligible for a Heart Walk t-shirt once they have raised a minimum of $100. For info, click here.

10. Car Seat Check at McCain Mall: The North Little Rock Police Department help parents become confident in their car seat usage. Officers who are certified technicians will be on hand to check the size, fit, and installation of every car seat, and answer parents’ questions regarding proper usage. 8 a.m.-1 p.m. April 25.
