The Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre will close out its season with a fairytale favorite, "Sleeping Beauty." The musical will delight young princess lovers starting this Friday, April 25 and continue through May 11.

Written by Alan Keith Smith, the storyline will follow the Brothers Grimm classic: The king and queen finally have the child they've always wanted, and invite the entire kingdom to meet the newborn princess -- except one bad fairy. After a few trials and a little nap, the tale of love, courage and triumph will end happily ever after, of course!

Guests are also invited to experience a night full of merriment and magic at the Sleeping Beauty Ball (6-8 p.m. Sat., May 10; $20).

Performance times for "Sleeping Beauty" are 7 p.m. Fri., & 2 p.m. Sat. & Sun. April 25-May 11. Tickets are $12.50.
