FAVORITE MEMORY FROM HIGH SCHOOL
This year at the opening pep rally when I wore a lobster mascot suit. Our opening pep rally theme for our grade was "Surf's Up Seniors," and, obviously, I wanted to be … buttered up for the occasion.
THE TEACHER WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE
My Quiz Bowl coach and AP Human Geography teacher, Mr. Carden, really cultivated my love of other cultures — enough for me to want to dedicate my life to immersing myself in them. I am extremely grateful to him for the passion that he teaches and the genuine care he has for his students.
