FAVORITE MEMORY FROM HIGH SCHOOL
Our junior class college trip. Exploring so many different campuses of so many different styles and climates helped me define my goals for college and the future, and I made unforgettable memories with the rest of my class!
THE TEACHER WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE
Mr. Layne Martens, my band director, helped me to find spirit and dedication in my school's vibrant musical community. His encouragement gave me the confidence and motivation to consistently improve both as a clarinetist and as a leader, whether practicing for All-Region auditions or conducting as drum major.
