CARRER GOAL
My goal is to major in physics and minor in music and delve into the research of astrophysics throughout the course of my post-secondary education experience, studying abroad and interning to gain more knowledge in this field. After having worked in this profession, I plan to become an educator.
FAVORITE MEMORY FROM HIGH SCHOOL
Volunteering at the Museum of Discovery, being the guitarist for a local rock band (Sabine Valley), and simply spending time with my close group of friends and family has allowed me to break free from my comfort zone and grow as a person, enjoying the connections I've made with my peers, my teachers and my community.
THE TEACHER WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE
I can't name just one; Mr. James, Mrs. Liu, and Captain Pursley from my high school have all challenged me to become a more curious and determined person through their rigorous courses and helpful attitude toward learning. From learning basic scales to finger-style arrangements of popular songs, my guitar teacher, David Dunavant, has made me truly appreciate the world of music and its impact on people.
