Career Goal: I want to be a mechanical engineer. I really enjoy making things that move and fit together in cool ways, and so mechanical engineering seems the most apt career path for me.
Favorite Memory from High School: My favorite memories from high school have probably been the times I've spent learning and discussing topics with my friends. Collaborative learning is the best kind of learning.
Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life: When I was a sophomore, I learned world history from Mr. Doran, who taught me a lot — not only about the world, but about how to learn and approach problems. We debated a lot in his class, and I got to see lots of perspectives that I hadn't previously seen.
