UCA Bear Blast-Donaghey Block Party: A fun-filled evening for the entire family with food, rock climbing wall, carnival-style games, bounce houses and free cotton candy and popcorn. Nashville, Tennessee band, The Roads Below, and Conway’s Just Cause will provide live music. The block party is for students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families, as well as the Conway and surrounding communities. The party goes from 5-9 p.m. and takes place in front of The Shoppes at Donaghey, 250 Donaghey Ave. in Conway. FREE!

Pyro in the Park at Dickey-Stephens Park: It's one of the last home games of the season for the Arkansas Travelers, and they're going out with a bang! Pyro in the Park is the huge, spectacular fireworks show that follows the 7:10 p.m. game. The Travs will play against Tulsa before the light-up-the-sky fun begins. Tickets are $6-$12. Run With the Flock 5K/1M: Proceeds from the second annual Run With the Flock will be donated in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If mom or dad wants to run to win, they can race and compete for the top male and female awards. All 5K participants will receive a T-shirt and a medal when they complete the race and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk participants will also receive a T-shirt and a special medal. Set your alarms early for this one — the event goes from 6:30-9 a.m. 5K registration is $30 and 1M registration is $15. Starts at 4001 N. Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock. Primrose School of West Little Rock Grand Opening Celebration: Celebrate the official entrance of Primrose Schools into Little Rock at the new Primrose School of West Little Rock. The grand opening event will feature activities including a balloon artist, a scavenger hunt, a visit from Percy the Rooster, educational games and refreshments. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. to mark the official grand opening of the school. The fun goes from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 1601 Kirk Road in Little Rock. Lip Sync Battle for Make-A-Wish Mid-South: Lip Sync Battle is based on a running bit that first aired on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon then morphed into a show hosted by LL Cool J on Spike TV. The third annual event will take place at the Robinson Center and feature local celebrities including TV and radio personalities, former Razorbacks and politicians competing for a WWE Championship belt in lip syncing. Star Party at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: The eclipse is over, but that doesn't mean that you have to be done observing the awesome beauty of the sky! Join amateur astronomers at the visitor center for an evening with the stars and other celestial phenomena. As twilight settles in, the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society will provide telescopes for viewing objects in the night sky. Summertime Lake Cruises on Lake Maumelle: Enjoy a relaxing trip on Lake Maumelle from 1-2:30 p.m. or 3-4:30 p.m. A park interpreter guides the cruise on a pontoon boat to view beautiful landscapes, historic structures and resident wildlife. "The Wizard of Oz" at Murry's Dinner Playhouse: Follow the yellow brick road straight to Murry's Dinner Playhouse for a family night at the theater as "The Wizard of Oz" hits the stage.
