Evening Canoe Float at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Explore the Big Maumelle River with a park interpreter on this guided canoe float. Meet at the Big Maumelle boat launch to experience the serenity of twilight as it slowly changes into a peaceful moonlit night. Advance payment required. $40 per canoe. Walker Art Center Internet Cat Video Festival at Arkansas Arts Center: Billed as the first offline celebration of online cat videos, the live event gathers fellow feline fanatics to watch a curated collection of cat clips — from six second Vine videos to short films and everything in between — in a social environment. Second Annual Homegoods Day at Plantation Agriculture Museum State Park in Scott: Homemakers and crafters from around Arkansas display and answer questions about their goods. Activities and items include everything from local honey to soaps, baskets, candles, coopering, spinning, weaving, canned goods, various home-making demonstrations, and free homemade ice cream.
