Take in the beauty of early spring at one of these floral festivals around Arkansas. Daffodils are blooming in Camden, on Wye Mountain and at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs (pictured above)!
23nd Annual Camden Daffodil Festival in Downtown Camden: Enjoy the weekend festivities, including the annual 5K run, Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, arts and crafts show and sale, Championship Steak-off, live music acts and stage events, downtown booths, children's activities and Antique Car Show. 37th Annual Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival at Wye United Methodist Church: Enjoy the sight of 7 acres of more than 30 varieties of daffodils to view, photograph and walk through. On weekends, enjoy arts & crafts, BBQ, other food concessions and soft drinks. Check the Facebook page for updates on blooms! When picking is permitted, $1 per dozen daffodils. 48th Annual Jonquil Festival at Historic Washington State Park: This three-day festival heralds the arrival of spring in Southwest Arkansas! Thousands of jonquils welcome craftspeople, entertainers and visitors to the town of Historic Washington. Unique crafts and delicious foods are just part of the attractions, and tours of the park, historic homes, and museums are available at regular price. Daffodil Days & Tulip Extravaganza at Garvan Woodland Gardens: Celebrate the end of winter with thousands of daffodils blooming, azaleas and dogwoods flowering, and spring wildflowers and perennials budding throughout the Gardens. But nothing makes a bigger show than nearly 150,000 Dutch tulips! The flowers are at their peak between mid-March and mid-April. Bloom times vary according to temperatures and rainfall.
