5th Annual LEGO Contest at Roosevelt Thompson Library: Contestants bring their ready-built LEGO designs from 9 a.m.-noon, judging is from 1-3 p.m., public viewing of the designs is from 3-5 p.m., and the winners are announced at 5 p.m. Check with the library for contest guidelines. LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV Space Challenge at Amy Sanders Library in Sherwood: Introduce your students (ages 9-14) to robotics during this five-week program! Students work as scientists and engineers as they progress through this set of lessons, challenges, and projects that fully integrate STEM while promoting creative problem solving, communication, and teamwork.
