Can you feel the excitement? Central Arkansas is getting its own outlet shopping center and it opens THIS weekend! From Gymboree to OshKosh B'gosh, there are plenty of stores where we can't wait to dig for deals. To kick off the shopping extravaganza, Outlets of Little Rock will host four events—including a special day just for families—during its Grand Opening Weekend. Here's the rundown:

1. Open Doors. Open Hearts. Charity Preview Night, 5-9 p.m. Oct. 15

The fun kicks off with a VIP preview event that doubles as a charity night. Guests will enjoy a special preview of the shopping center, as well as shopping, savings, prizes, entertainment and more. General admission tickets are $20 each, and 100 percent of the ticket proceeds benefit 20 local nonprofits, including Our House, Centers for Youth & Families, Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas, Access Group, Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, and many more of our favorite organizations. 2. Ribbon Cutting and Official Grand Opening, 9:30 a.m. Oct. 16

Celebrate the opening with a ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. You won't want to miss the excitement when doors officially open for shopping at 10 a.m.! Eager shoppers will enjoy saving up to 70 percent off—definitely an incentive to brave the crowds! Shopping will continue until 9 p.m. and guests will be treated to entertainment and door prizes throughout the day.

3. Looks for Less Fashion Show, 3 p.m. Oct. 17

Hosted by Carson Kressley—celebrity stylist and Emmy award-winning TV personality, this free fashion show will be a fabulous and frugal introduction to all of the fall styles the Outlets have to offer. Styled and produced by a team of New York-based stylists, attendees will learn how to put together a stylish wardrobe without breaking the bank.

4. Kids Day, noon-3 p.m. Oct. 18

Spend your Sunday Funday enjoying shopping and super activities for all ages. Kids can meet their favorite princess and super heroes, have their faces painted, request a balloon animal, marvel at a stilt walker and more.
